Editorial Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Readers trust a review only when they know how it was made. This page explains ours.

What we publish

  • Book reviews that explain what a book is about, what works, what doesn’t, and who it suits
  • Reading lists organised around real needs, such as short reads, beginners or students
  • Reading guides and data articles on habits, formats and the book market
  • Free tools, such as our reading speed test and reading time calculator

How we choose topics and books

We pick books readers are actively looking for, with a mix of classics, recent bestsellers and nonfiction. Bestseller data from Circana BookScan, reader questions and long-term search interest all help us decide. Publishers and authors don’t pay for coverage.

Original writing, no copied text

  • Every article is written for this site in our own words.
  • We don’t copy publisher blurbs or reproduce passages from books. When we refer to an idea from a book, we paraphrase it.
  • Book titles and author names are used only to identify the works we discuss.

Fact-checking and sources

  • Data articles cite their sources at the end of the page and link to the original release. We use primary or highly reputable sources: Pew Research Center, Gallup, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Association of American Publishers, the Audio Publishers Association and Circana BookScan (via Publishers Weekly).
  • We report figures exactly as published and say when a number is an estimate, such as word counts and reading times.
  • We avoid combining figures from surveys that measure different things.
  • Reviews are checked for factual details such as publication year, author and series order.

Spoilers

Reviews are spoiler-light by default. When we need to discuss a major plot point, we warn readers first.

Images

Article images are original images created for AIContentClips, generated with AI image tools (Figma AI) from our own prompts, or rendered as original illustrations and charts. We deliberately do not use publisher book covers, film stills or other copyrighted artwork. Charts are drawn from the published data cited on each page.

Use of AI tools

We use software, including AI writing and image tools, to help with research, drafting, image creation and checking. Every article is reviewed, edited and fact-checked before it’s published, and responsibility for what appears on the site stays with us.

Corrections and updates

If you spot an error, email contact@aicontentclips.online. We review every report, correct confirmed mistakes promptly and update the article’s date. We also revisit data articles when new figures are released.

Advertising and independence

AIContentClips may show ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say in what we write or recommend. We don’t currently use affiliate links. If that changes, we’ll disclose it clearly on the relevant pages.
